How To Root LG G3 Devices Using Stump Root APK

LG G3 is one of the popular LG devices which was released in 2014. Though there are so many rooting tools only Stump root is working on LG G3 devices. This tool was created by Justin Case, IOMonster (thecubed), autoprime, and PlayfulGod who are contributors to XDA developers. The tool has especially been designed to root any US variant of the G3. The latest version is Stump root v1.2.0.

The initial version of the app was Stump root v1.0.0 and it was designed to support  LG G3 ( Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) and after the initial version v1.0.1 was released and it was compatible with  D852 (Bell 10B, Rogers 10B) and D852G Videotron 10C. Also, this version came with patch detection.

How To Root With Stump Root APK

  • Download  Stump root APK and Install it
  • Run  application
  • Tap on the "Grind" button 
  • Next, the app will ask you to restart your device
  • Then, restart your device install SuperSU from the Play Store
Note: You are completely free to uninstall the app after the device rooted.Because there is no importance of the app after the device is rooted

  • What is brute force mode?
Bruteforce mode is used to identify the location of the device when Stump root does not know the location of the device. This may take 2 hours and length of time period reduces when the device has an internet connection.

 Yes, you can do it but you have to restore the stock firmware to regain root if it fails
